Bracelet Do's and Dont's
The rules and ways of wearing jewelry have
changed over time. There is nothing wrong with experimenting with it, freely do
your own thing. Still, it is better to follow some basic rules and avoid common
blunders with bracelets at the time of start.
Generally, in the case of men, it is
considered better to wear fewer items of jewelry at the same time. Men should
not forget that a watch is also counted as a piece of jewelry. You can start
with one consciously chosen men’s bracelet,
two also works well but you have to be very careful with three. It is better to
avoid more than this unless you are a bohemian, a seasoned pro or a rock star.
If you want to wear a beaded bracelet, you can wear anything from tiny 4mm up to 8mm
beads. But wearing 10mm beads is not recommended. The bracelet with large beads
looks bulky, especially on smaller wrist sizes.
Whenever you want to wear a bracelet,
consider when you are wearing it. If you are dressing casually then you can mix
styles and multiple bracelets set.
When you are dressing smarter or formal, going on a date or at work then
minimal is better. One carefully chosen statement bracelet is enough and will
finish your outfit. If you want to wear bracelets on both wrists, then go for
two on one wrist and one on another.
Also, you should consider colors, textures,
and fitting of the bracelets carefully. Check that the colors of the bracelets
look good together and whether they match with the attire or not. Men often
overlooked the fitting of the bracelets. Some stores will have a small, medium
or large option for bracelets while others will just come in one free size. You
should check the size of bracelet before buying bracelet online. You will definitely not like a bracelet to be too loose or
to fit tightly. Even an exactly fitting bracelet may seem like a good idea but
can actually be quite uncomfortable. Just like you want some room for movement
in a piece of clothing, same happens with bracelets.
If you think that a stretchy bracelet will
magically fit your wrist, you are wrong. The gaps between the beads should not
be visible, it doesn't look good. Ideally, your wrist size should be within
1/4" of the inner size of the bracelet for comfort.
